Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

CourtesyCart Corporation is a Delaware corporation with its office in Des Moines, Iowa, in the United States. This policy covers courtesycart.app — the CourtesyCart Journal, the beta waitlist, the contact and feedback forms, and any advertising or rewarded activity shown on this website.

The CourtesyCart household app is a separate product, still in private development. When it opens, it will present its own terms and privacy notice at sign-up. Where this policy describes advertising, rewards, surveys, or receipt scanning, the same practices will apply in that app and in the CourtesyCart mobile apps for Android and iOS.

2. Information we collect

When you join the CourtesyCart beta waitlist, we collect your first name and your email address. When you write to us through the contact or feedback forms, we collect what you choose to put in them.

Beyond that, the data collected on this site is the cookie-based advertising data described in section 4, and — only if you choose to take part in a rewarded activity — the data our rewards partner collects directly from you, described in sections 5 and 6.

3. How we use your information

We use your waitlist information solely to tell you about CourtesyCart, including beta access invitations and product announcements. We do not sell or rent your name, email address, or any message you send us, and we do not pass them to advertisers, survey partners, or rewards partners.

Advertising and rewarded activities are different, and we want to be plain about it. The companies that supply them collect data directly from your browser or device and process it under their own privacy policies, which can include sharing it with their clients and partners for commercial purposes. Sections 4 and 5 name those companies and link to their policies. Section 10 explains how a California resident can opt out.

4. Advertising and cookies

This site displays advertising served by Google. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Visitors in regions that require consent will be shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are used, and can change their choice at any time through that message.

Separately from the advertising above, some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you follow one and make a purchase, the affiliate network that manages the relationship sets a cookie or similar identifier in your browser so the retailer can attribute that purchase to this site, and CourtesyCart Corporation may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. That attribution data is processed by the network under its own privacy policy. Which pages carry affiliate links, and how we mark them, is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. As of September 1, 2026, no page on this site contains an affiliate link.

5. Offer Serving Technology

This website uses a web plugin developed by Prodege, GmbH (“Prodege”). Prodege is an online offer platform, through which users are exposed to market research surveys and/or third-party ads, including offers, games, shopping and ‘Magic Receipts’ (collectively, “Rewarded Activities”). Prodege collaborates with publishers of smartphone applications and website owners to provide their users with access to Rewarded Activities. This website uses and enables Prodege cookies to serve Rewarded Activities. Prodege collects and processes your data in accordance with applicable legal requirements. For a full list of data Prodege may receive from this site, and further information on how Prodege processes such data, see Prodege’s Privacy Policy, available at https://bitlabs.ai/offerwall-privacy-policy. Prodege may transfer your data to non-EEA countries in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or EU Commission Standard Contractual Clauses. Prodege may share such data with third parties, clients and business partners, for commercial purposes. By using this website, you accept the Prodege privacy policy and give your consent for Prodege to process such data. To exercise any applicable rights relating to your data, please visit: https://bitlabs.ai/offerwall-privacy-policy. Again, please review the Prodege Privacy Policy for a more detailed view of how Prodege works and with whom Prodege shares data.

6. Rewards, offers, and surveys

Taking part in a rewarded activity is always optional, and it is open only to adult account holders. The full terms of every activity, including everything required to earn the reward, are shown before you begin.

When you complete one, our partner reports the result directly to our servers and we credit your account from that report. We do not credit rewards from anything your browser or phone reports on its own. To make that work we pass our partner an internal account identifier and nothing else — no name, no email address, and no information about your household, your shopping lists, or your pantry.

A partner may later determine that an activity was incomplete, duplicated, or fraudulent. Where that happens the reward can be withdrawn, and we will show you why.

7. Children and minors

CourtesyCart is intended for adults. This site and the CourtesyCart product are not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age that applies where a child lives. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under that age, and we do not knowingly share any such information with our advertising, survey, or rewards partners.

CourtesyCart is built for households, and households include children. Advertising personalization, surveys, offers, cashback, and receipt scanning are restricted to adult account holders. They are not shown to a household member recorded as a minor.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us personal information, write to support@courtesycart.app and we will delete it. We comply with the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and with the other laws protecting the privacy of minors that apply to us.

8. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, and the server-to-server messages that confirm a completed rewarded activity are verified before any reward is credited. We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw from the waitlist at any time. Write to support@courtesycart.app and we will respond within 30 days.

Data held by an advertising or rewards partner is held under that partner’s own policy. Sections 4 and 5 link to each of them, and each explains how to exercise your rights with that company directly.

10. Your California privacy rights

If you live in California you may ask us what personal information we hold about you and where it came from, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To opt out, email Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information — that link opens a message to support@courtesycart.app with the subject line already filled in. You may also send the request through an authorized agent.

You can withdraw consent for personalized ad tracking at any time in your mobile device settings, and you can opt out of advertising cookies using the two links in section 4. To exercise a right against our rewards partner directly, use the policy linked in section 5.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
