Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: September 1, 2026
1. What this disclosure covers
This website, courtesycart.app, is operated by CourtesyCart Corporation of Des Moines, Iowa. Some links on this site may be affiliate links. That means if you click one and then make a purchase from the retailer it points to, CourtesyCart Corporation may earn a commission. The price you pay does not change.
2. How you will know
Any article that contains affiliate links will say so in a clearly visible notice at the top of the article, before the content begins — not buried at the bottom and not only on this page. As of the date above, no page on this site contains an affiliate link; this page exists so the policy is in place before the first one is published.
3. Our editorial rule
Articles in the CourtesyCart Journal are written first, and any affiliate relationship comes second. A commission never decides what we recommend: the Buy It for Life index deliberately describes product properties rather than brands, and where an article cites a source, the source is listed at the end of the article. If a recommendation would not stand without the commission, it does not run.
4. How affiliate tracking works
When you follow an affiliate link, the affiliate network that manages the relationship sets a cookie or similar identifier in your browser so the retailer can attribute a resulting purchase to this site. That attribution data is handled by the network under its own privacy policy. Our privacy policy describes this in section 4, alongside the advertising this site already discloses.
5. Questions
If anything here is unclear, use the contact page and we will answer plainly.
