These terms govern your use of this website, courtesycart.app, operated by CourtesyCart Corporation of Des Moines, Iowa — including the articles we publish here and the beta waitlist. Using the site means agreeing to them. The CourtesyCart product is in private development; people invited into it agree to its own terms at sign-up.

Joining the waitlist asks for a first name and an email address, used only as the privacy policy describes. Joining does not create an account, does not cost anything, and does not guarantee access by any particular date. You can ask us to remove you at any time.

The articles, text, and design of this site belong to CourtesyCart Corporation. You are welcome to read, link to, and quote briefly from them with attribution. Republishing whole articles, or using the content commercially, needs our written permission first.

The Journal publishes general-interest writing about shopping, household budgeting, and home goods. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or dietary advice, and product decisions remain yours. Check labels, warranties, and prices yourself before relying on them.

This site may display advertising served by third parties, as described in the privacy policy. Advertisers are responsible for their own products and claims; an ad appearing here is not our endorsement of it.

CourtesyCart may offer rewarded activities supplied by a third-party partner — market research surveys, offers and games, cashback shopping, and receipt scanning. These rules apply to all of them.

Taking part is optional and is open only to adult account holders. Before you start any activity, its own terms are shown, including every action required to earn the reward, any deadline, and the amount. Read them; they come from the partner or its advertiser, and they are what decides whether a reward is earned.

A reward is credited only after the partner confirms the completed activity to our servers. Rewards have no cash value and are not transferable. If the partner or its advertiser later determines an activity was incomplete, duplicated, automated, or fraudulent, the reward can be reversed.

Do not attempt to earn rewards by any automated, artificial, or deceptive means — including bots or scripts, more than one account per person, false or hurried survey answers, or masking your location or connection. We will remove rewards obtained that way and may close the account.

Advertisers and survey partners are responsible for their own products, claims, and terms. Their presence here is not our endorsement of them. What they collect about you is governed by their own privacy policies, described in the privacy policy.

Do not scrape the site at abusive volume, attempt to break or probe it, or misuse the waitlist or feedback forms. We may block traffic that does.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new revision date.
